Resident Research Opportunities

All residents are encouraged to follow a three-year research plan.  

Residents have the opportunity to participate in the "UC Irvine/AAP Badges/Research Rotation," which covers a selection of skills, including:

  • Experimental and research design
  • Research team organization
  • Data analysis
  • Writing and publication of a research paper
  • Grant proposal writing
  • Research ethics

Residents may also undertake their own resident-initiated research project.
